AAPEX to Feature “Where the Love Affair Begins” Display

Exhibit to Highlight Inspirational Value of Toys
ORLAND PARK, IL – Aug. 11, 2011 – The cherished toys and games that inspired many people to pursue automotive-related careers will be featured in the new “Where the Love Affair Begins” display at this year’s Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX). AAPEX will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1 through Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

The Toy Industry Association™ Inc. (TIA) is organizing the display to highlight the inspirational value of toys and recognize the tie-in between a favorite childhood toy or game and adult vocations or hobbies.
The exhibit will feature a wide variety of auto toys – matchbox cars, remote-control (RC) vehicles, ride-ons and more – that will allow attendees to take a stroll down memory lane and also see today’s hottest car-related innovations in toys. A “hands-on” component of the exhibit will allow attendees to unwind and relax with a few moments of fun.
The toys and games children play can inspire lifetime interests and career choices. The toy industry’s presence at AAPEX will provide attendees with the unique opportunity to reflect on how their childhood passion turned into their current careers.
TIA represents the producers and importers of toys and youth entertainment products sold in North America.
